Puma Energy and Hass Petroleum have announced a strategic partnership to distribute Puma Energy’s lubricants across the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The agreement was finalized during the Investing in African Mining Indaba conference in Cape Town.
The collaboration marks the debut of the Puma Energy lubricants brand in the DRC. Under the partnership, Hass Petroleum will handle the distribution and marketing of high-performance lubricants, supporting critical sectors including mining and industrial operations in one of Africa’s fastest-growing markets.
Ben Ouattara, Head of Africa at Puma Energy, said: “This partnership is a significant milestone in expanding our lubricants business across Africa, bringing our presence to 11 markets.
By leveraging an export model and working with a strong regional partner like Hass Petroleum, we can efficiently extend the Puma Energy brand and deliver our high-quality products into growth markets such as the DRC.”
Solomon Osundwa, Regional Managing Director of Hass Petroleum, added: “We are pleased to partner with Puma to provide premium lubricants to customers in the DRC.
Combining our regional expertise with Puma’s product quality makes this one of our most important partnerships this year. As part of our growth strategy, we also plan to expand into Mozambique and Angola.”
